In addition to the Hot Springs Village nature trails, both the Ouachita National Forest and Hot Springs National Park offer an abundance of paths perfect for hiking and mountain biking. In fact, Hot Springs has three of the four IMBA epic trails found in Arkansas – the Womble Epic and the Ouachita National Recreation Trail, (the International Mountain Bicycling Association uses the Epic® designation to identify the best mountain biking trails in the region).

Whether on the Village nature trails, Arkansas’ mountain trails, or secluded scenic roads, cycling is one of the best ways to get outdoors and see the beauty of Arkansas. Explore routes of varying degrees and difficulty like the challenging hills of the Epic Womble Trail, Cedar Glades Mountain Bike Park in Hot Springs, or simply pedal across Arkansas on rural roads that take you from one historic town to the next.
Hot Springs Village proper has over 20 restaurants; choose from American to Chinese, Italian, Mexican and specialty or drive to a nearby city (Little Rock, Benton, Bryant or Hot Springs) to explore their numerous dining venues from five star to original restaurants and popular food chains.
Book a Broadway-style show at the Woodlands Auditorium in Hot Springs Village or venture out to enjoy an abundance of shopping, arts and culture, and historical attractions in Hot Springs and Little Rock including the downtown River Market.
Or enjoy the Hot Springs Village outdoor pool is a family favorite on hot summer days to splash, play, and sunbathe. The 2,900 sf zero-entry pool was built in 2019-2020 and has spray jets, in-water bench seating, and deck diving in the deep end. The pool deck features a mix of shade and sun options, and the building has restrooms and snack bar. Annual pool memberships are available for property owners, and daily passes are offered for members and their guests.
Lake Ouachita, famous for its pristine water and scenic beauty, is the largest lake in the state and one of our closet neighbors with boating, fishing, paddle boarding, spear fishing, scuba diving and camping. The lake has rugged shoreline with lots of islands and hidden coves and is a favorite for bass fishing.
With 11 lakes, two beaches and 2 full-service marinas, it’s easy to enjoy a day in the sun in Hot Springs Village, AR. The Coronado Fitness Center is a full workout facility with a fitness room featuring weigh machines, cardio equipment and free weights. A variety of classes are available – yoga, zumba, Pilates, spinning and water aerobics. An indoor heated lap pool and indoor walking track are also on site. Registered massage therapists offer Swedish massages, deep tissue massages and reflexology massages.

The Coronado Fitness Center offers a variety of land and water classes such as yoga, Zumba, spin, cycling, Pilates, water aerobics and more. Classes are available for all skill levels and are taught by national certified instructors. Regular coed, drop-in classes are included in the daily fee. Some specialty classes may require registration and an additional fee.
Club sports fans can play tennis, pickleball, bocce ball, lawn bowling or join the new senior softball league. Families enjoy the playground equipment at DeSoto Family Recreation Area.
The Coronado Tennis Center is a 13-court complex with ten clay courts and three hard surface courts. The clubhouse features a lounge, kitchen and pro shop as well as a 400-square-foot pavilion with an ice machine, picnic tables and restrooms with showers. A ball machine and practice hoppers are also available.
The Hot Springs Village Pickleball Club consists of 14 fenced courts hosting 250+ players per week, and the courts have LED lights for night play. The Club conducts weekly planned play sessions for all skill levels of play, women’s, men’s, and mixed groups, as well as organizes free introductory lessons with loaner equipment. Competitive play is also offered for all skill levels. Each year the Club hosts two Open House events for residents and guests alike to try the sport.
